Questions clinics ask

Does it give medical advice?

No. It is a receptionist, not a clinician. It answers questions about your services, timings, location and the prices you give it, and passes any question about symptoms, treatment or results to your team. Someone describing an emergency is told to call 998 straight away.

Can it use our clinic's current WhatsApp number?

Not yet. Connecting an existing number needs Meta's partner approval, which ShineDigit is waiting for. Today the receptionist gets a new number of its own: you buy a new SIM that has never been on WhatsApp, and we set it up. When the approval comes, it can move to your number.

Does it book appointments in our system?

It collects the patient's name, the service and a preferred day and time, and puts the request in your inbox and on a calendar feed (Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple). Your team confirms. A direct link to clinic booking software isn't available yet.

Which languages does it speak?

It answers in the language the patient writes in, including English and Arabic, and Hindi or Urdu.

Can our staff still reply?

Yes. Your team sees every chat in the ShineDigit inbox and can reply at any time; the AI stays out of a chat your team has taken over.

What data does it ask for?

Only what a booking needs: name, the service and a preferred time. It never asks for medical history, Emirates ID or insurance numbers on WhatsApp.

Is there a contract?

The launch offer comes with a 3-month commitment. After that it is monthly and you can cancel any time from your dashboard.
